You simply just let it go in one ear and out the other. I know that it can be hard at the time but do know that the reason that they most likely have something hateful to say is either a form of insecurity or jealousy. I love to kill them with kindness, that always seems to make them more mad and makes me feel great! when they see that it is affecting you they will continue to do so, just don't let it show that it is bothering you and they will most likely stop.
