You should think about your friendship and say, whats better? Having a friend or a boyfriend? To me, crushing on your bestfriend is fine, but dating him makes matters worse, you are putting your friendship at risk, and when you tell him, it might all backfire and he'll always remember that you have a crush on him, even after all these years, he should've noticed you as a girlfriend or seen that you've had feelings for him, but has he ? No, you have to tell him. Friends are way better than boyfriends, friends you dont have to watch the girls he hang out with, you dont need to text him every minute to see what he is up too, but when you date him, you might feel that you cant trust him. I fell for my bestfriend, but I remembered that its better staying friends than losing him when we break up. Im not saying that it wont work out, I'm saying go for it, but have a long hard think about your friendship and the risks of all this love.
