He doesn't deserve her. she deserves someone better. I once had a very close friend who fell in 'love' with a guy who she barely saw. She memorized everything about him and wrote him letters and everything altho she neither ave them nor intended to give them to him ....she lived in an almost imaginary world for the entire last year and now regrets it....i hope your friend feels better! :)
