How, where and when does one draw the line between harming or helping when someone comes to you for consolation/advice?
I really and truly don't judge no one. All I ever try best to my knowledge is help, best as I can. But it seems that I always end up harming/getting rubbed up ...

If you advise a person between you and him and not infront of everyone it will help and wont go wrong . Also if you dont know what to advise tell the truth and send em to some1 who can ,, the best way to advise is to put yourself in others place and live their situation for a moment!

You're absolutely right which I have come to realize - because my mom always when I was younger told me : if you weren't guilty of it you wouldn't get so offended - and I live by this truth today - actually should make it into a quote somehow - but I also have learned that it's not my place to bring the light to a situation -- so I don't know what I ought to do because I always end up in these situations, as a light bearer -- I don't know if I'm harming or helping.

Just move on and deal with the hand that we got dealt with --- and not see ppl who are helping from a sincere place as the person who inflicted you with harm. I must just remind myself in these cases that not everyone is as strong as the next person instead of feeling like I've done something wrong to offend you. Because I will never judge it's not in my nature and I know that the wheel is round but I will remember and be gentle.

I agree but sometimes it also depends on the other persons perception --- because I know that I mean well, but if that person isn't ready to receive the message communicated it will be of harm to them especially when they look at it from a distorted perception and their own prism of pain and hurts. But I have learned now --- it's best just to say nothing, but also saying nothing is as good as being indifferent. I will just leave ppl to their own vices. Because we've all been hurt, but some of
