Scene kids are usually classified as 'emo', however, they don't go to the suicidal extremities. They wear dark clothes and skinny jeans, usually dye their hair black with bright streaks (e.g. pink), and are usually misinterpreted by others as creepy and, as I said, 'emo'. They like certain hardcore music that 'normal' teenagers don't really listen to, and because they are a minority sub-culture, people automatically think they're weird. Generalizing here, but the scene kids are usually pale (Anglo-Saxan), and can pull off any look involving skinnys - ranging from black to bright, eye-sore blue - and the leather half-gloves.
