On my chest there's a tattoo of my ex's name, would it be fair to hide it from my girlfriend or tell her the truth?

I would tell her , and explain to her the reason you had it there , because she'll know you are being honest with her , and told her about it before she seen it herself , and get upset and wonder why you didn't trust her enough to tell her before .

Your New Girlfriend should understand that you had your heart breaks in your past. Just let her know you had a girlfriend but things didnt work out. If she loves you, she will understand & I'm sure she had boyfriends in the past. Just remember Honesty is the way to a girls heart. :)
