What do I do when I am worried about the past?

I want to thank everyone for their input. I just do not want to make a commitment to God because I am afraid of failing him over and over again. I know God forgives but I feel like I cannot be forgiven for everything that I forsake him for. I don't know it is just good to have people to talk about this.

You are not alone who has problems in life. There are so many people out there who has worst situation than you. But they are fighting to overcome all the problems. Unlike you smoking and drinking just to forget the past and to survive the present. Remember one thing we can't forget the past but we have to learn to live with all those memories. Instead of blaming god and using smoke n alcohol stand and fight all the obstacles. If there are problems solve them coz no one will do it for you.

Second, maybe you need to fix your relationship with God. Attending a church and join into the youth community in church and hopefully they can ease your pain in life. The Demon is your bad habit in disguise, because you doing that, it become habit. And when habit repeated over and over, it become character which is hard to stop.

I don't know why but most of people who forsake the God tend to ruin their live. You must understand, people who said they hate God are don't really hate God, they just hate their weaknesses and curse their powerlessness against bad thing that happen in their life. First, I think you need to get close with your families especially your parent. Because parents are an important shelter when you disorianted in your life.

Get into things like social clubs or church societies(if u're a christian) so you can get busy and participate in doing things like sports, music, drama or even jobs that require your services. Goodluck.
