Tell him! If you tell him that you can't stop thinking about him, not only will he be flattered, but it lets him know that you like him, and you never know, you may have a shot! :) I use to be the same way, really really shy. But after a little bit of experience and heartbreak, i've learned that life is too short not to go after what you want, or feel that you need. Good luck! (:
