All u can do is express to him that what people are sayin isnt true. but if he wont believe you then u might just have to move on before anything else gets worse. if he "loves" you then he should trust you.

If he really love you and want to be with you then he will put you FIRST and not the ones thats spread the rumors. the best option to do is to prove yourself to him show him thats he's the only one , ask him questions like what time do I have to talk to anyone else . ?
