There are many reason why your chidlren like this, most of cases it happen because you SPOIL them. You need to teach them not by words but by actions, teach them in the world there NO FREE LUNCH or No Pain No Gain. I suggest you to cut their allowance (or even don't give them allowance), don't buy them anything (gift/present), and finally you can lock the wifi (in your house) let them taste the life without internet. You must show them who hold the authority in the house.
