God makes life hard for us not to torture us but to help us build our characteristics and I strongly believe that He wants to see if we are strong enough to put up to the challenges and trials that He throws in our way. But just remember that you are not alone when facing whichever crisis that you have; He is right by you. Just think about it; if life was easy for all of us, what are the chances that any of us would have the potential to face the outside world or to cross the line that you call your comfort zone? We'd all be brainless vegetables just sitting around waiting for the rainbow to come out. Life is a struggle, but you are not struggling alone.
