Fear is normal with anything new. However, making life altering decisions before you have lived life is a dangerous thing. Giving up your family to someone you have met on the internet is the ultimate choice of potentially giving up your life, your freedom, your own sense of self being. I would strongly suggest that you make no decision of giving up yourself to such an unknown factor at any age.
