CENTER STAGE
You are the watcher, the looker, the witness. You are an audience member in the play of life. You see the interactions of others as you follow your timeline, and for the most part these interactions are meaningless because they have little impact on you. The play goes on. But every once in a while, real life comes crashing into our ordinary existence. Perhaps it is a joyful event, but more than likely it is a difficult time or some tragedy that wakes us up. Suddenly, we shift from being an audience member to being an actor center stage. Now, things matter. There is meaning to our interactions, our relationships and our feelings. Everything is felt intensely. We want others to understand and feel with us. We invite them to join in the journey, but most will simply be the watcher, the looker, the witness to the play. Until it is their turn.
