Don't make promises that you can't keep. Don't look at her in the eyes and tell her I'll never lie to you, because she knows you might feel like protecting her from getting hurt. Don't look at her and say I would never leave you, because she knows you might get bored with her & just let her go. Don't say I'll never leave you for another girl, because she knows you might meet another girl who's better than her. But won't. Don't tell her I would never hurt you, but do because she knows you do stupid stuff that you didn't mean to do. She doesn't need promises from you, just for you to keep it real.
