Ive been acting since I was two. I dont dislike it by any means, but its a job to me. It can never be as personal as music, because youre playing a character and saying someone elses words. Music is who I am.

I have a knife collection. My favorites my switchblade. I flew from New York to Los Angeles and still had a couple of knives in my purse. Im not dissing Miley personally. However, I do think the Disney bubblegum sh.. that the world is living right now is pathetic. I thought we passed that repression. I dont know Miley, but musically were different. To compare us because of our age is silly.

I think people don't really take me seriously because I'm 16, And they think most 16-year-olds don't know what they want to do. But I actually really do, because I've been thinking about it since I was two.

I am angsty. I'll be angsty until I'm 80 years old. I think that keeps things fresh. But I always think angst is such a derogatory word toward teenagers. It just means you're figuring sh.. out, and I don't know why that's a negative thing. I have no desire to be some tabloid party girl. I'm entirely a loner. I have been my entire life.

My mom and I were in New York for the summer and I modeled for Ford. One time, I would not stop talking at the photo shoot so someone there said to my mom 'I think you have her in front of the wrong camera. You should go meet these people'.
