The director of The Sopranos told me that, if I wouldn't gain weight, I would lose my job. I didn't look like the girl who ate pasta all day. This was an extra stimulation to fight my eating problems.

The first time I read a script, I always read it as an audience as opposed to looking at it for a role right away. And then, I mean, I'm still inexperienced at all of this, so I'm still figuring it out, but I've noticed that projects that I respond to, I get a certain feeling. As I'm rereading it, and focusing on this character, if I'm really responding to it, I can almost envision myself doing it. And there's many times when I just can't and I know I'm not right for it.
