If a person has proven themselves to be trustworthy in most cases should, under normal circumstances, be trusted. Also If a person has proven themselves to be untrustworthy in most cases should, under normal circumstances, be trusted. But it is the person who proves themselves to be a cynic under normal circumstances that is the
most untrustworthy of us all.
