Memories have two qualities - pain and pleasure, if you are recalling it alone then they might give you the feeling of loneliness and sadness, but if you are sharing them with someone then you will surely smile because you may not be able to enjoy that memory again exactly the same way, but you can surely enjoy that feeling.
