Our minds are also pulled and pushed by different experiences that act on our emotions, which could be compared with the wheels of the ther (gigantic wooden cars used to carry the idols in procession around the temples). The impact of experiences on our minds manifests as positive or negative emotions . If these emotions become overwhelming, they can derail our minds leading to wrong decisions and actions. We should be careful about how any given experience affects our minds and what sort of emotional wave it creates.
