The arrogant & humble are from the same root word. The arrogant make fun of others.The humble make fun of themselves. Arrogance is pride polluted by feeling of superirority & generate self worth by downing others. Humble shows class of character by being confident &courageous. One who is humble nothing will distract him neither praise nor disgrace. Arrogant people build themselves up by putting others down. Arrogant people often suffer from low self-esteem and feelings of low self-worth.
