the moment when you thought you were strong enough to control your feelings towards someone to only realize that it could be a lil too quick too soon, but your hesitant because that person your willing to give your all could possibily throw it out the window the next day. Its scary to put yourself out there again for someone new. theirs a million things running through your head thinking that he prob wont feel the same way, hes prob just another asshole, or I'm just putting myself up for disappointments etc. thats when you pull yourself back, but yet at the same time you find yourself walking a couple steps forward willing to risk it all because you miss that feeling of being loved again.
