Wearing makeup and wearing fancy clothes doesn't necessarily mean you're not contented of being natural and simple, it doesn't necessarily mean you're insecure, it doesn't necessarily mean you want an extra attention and most specially, it doesn't necessarily mean you're not beautiful INSIDE (heart). Maybe it means, you find it more effective on expressing how passionate you are in making things more artistic and interesting. It could be your personal preference.
