Gardens, in British English, mean enclosed areas of land, surrounding a house. A garden is a well laid-out structure adjoining a house that is reserved for plantation, display, cultivation and enjoyment of the scenic beauty of nature. Gardens form a part of all bungalows and provide a space outdoors, adjoining to the confinements of your house, where you can sit, relax and interact with nature. Gardens that act as homes to all species of wild animals are called zoological gardens while those which provide shelter to all species of flowering plants are called botanical gardens.
The most common form of gardens is the residential gardens. Walt Disney had once remarked, “I don't like formal gardens. I like wild nature. It's just the wilderness instinct in me, I guess.” Gardening is the activity of growing and maintaining a garden. This is done by a professional or amateur gardener. Garden design is the plan for layout and planting of gardens and landscapes.
