Los Angeles is the most populous city in California and the second most populous city in USA after New York City with a population of 3.8 billion on a land area of 498.3 square miles. Los Angeles is called LA and is known as the city of angels. It is the centre of business, international trade, education, media, trade, fashion and culture. Mary Kate Olsen had once remarked, “Australia is so cool that it's hard to even know where to start describing it. The beaches are beautiful; so is the weather. Not too crowded; Great food, great music, really nice people. It must be a lot like Los Angeles was many years ago.”
Los Angeles was founded on the 4th September, 1781 by Felipe De Neve. Los Angeles is the third richest city in the world and the fifth most powerful and influential city, only behind New York in the United States. According to Bill Cullen, “Commuting from New York to Hollywood to do this show gets more interesting every week. Before I used to think the country was just New York on one end and Los Angeles on the other, with sand and mountains in the middle.”
