Quarrels are a temporary retaliation of the contradicting views and it can be between friends, spouses, children and neighbors. Each one has its own effect and significance. Quarrel between friends always bonds their Friendship better where quarrel between neighbors will only result in bad taste. The quarrel between lovers’ results in renewal of love. But a quarrel is quickly settled when deserted by one party. Only when two hands come together, they clap and make a noise. When one hand waves, there is no noise. Quarrel tends to conceal the sixth sense and more often than not, the truth is lost in the quarrel. So, Publulius says, “be not the first one to quarrel or the last to make up”. But there should be a strict line, marking the end of quarrel. An Irish proverb says, “A quarrel is like buttermilk. Once it’s out of the churn, the more you share it, the sourer it grows” hence let us not quarrel and even if it happens, try to make it as short as possible.
