Talent is the special somewhat unique ability that an individual possesses. The individual possessing the talent is a said to be talented. Talent is a special set of skills that is mostly God gifted or there since birth. According to Albert Einstein, “When I examine myself and my methods of thought, I come to the conclusion that the gift of fantasy has meant more to me than any talent for abstract, positive thinking.” Talents are found in all of us, it’s just that you need to recognize and harness them. Being talented is one thing whereas recognizing and honing your skills are certainly another. Some special talents include Intellectual ability, natural or acquired. Talent is often synonymous to mental endowment or capacity. It is essentially the skill in accomplishing or a special art. In the words of John Wooden, “Talent is God given. Be humble. Fame is man-given. Be grateful. Conceit is self-given. Be careful.”
