If there was a toilet for adults that played certain music depending on the weight of the action, I'd totally buy it.
Ok: I just saw a space shuttle on the back of a plane at JFK. Am I hallucinating? am I dead?
I'm not gonna deny this. I was just an uncoordinated mess that day and I couldn't put the ball into the pins. I couldn't do it. It was bad. She just brought the A-game. And I brought the B-game.
Its been a great opportunity to learn how to sing and dance. Ive never done anything like this before. It has also been a challenge performing with seasoned Broadway performers next to me.
Most common misconception is that this is trying to rip off High School Musical! Quite the contrary, as this show really isn't a musical at all. It's a comedy show with singing. Rules apply to when you can sing and dance, which keeps the tone of the show realistic.
One of the reasons I got into acting was because its so fly-by-night. I never knew what was going to happen. Now all of a sudden I know Im going to be in Los Angeles for the next two years. Its great. Ill do anything the show will have me do. Ill do movies, Ill do as many seasons as theyll have me.
I don't have to hide or be somebody I'm not. I don't have to compromise. I can just be myself.

Such a senseless tragedy. when are we going to reconsider the role of guns in society? how many more times does this have to happen?

I love big shooting days, with crane shots and hundreds of people on set. That's really exciting.. Shooting in LA for the first time has been really exciting for me too!
Well, I'm not 17 or from Ohio, or play on the football team or date cheerleaders, etc...But Finn and I share a certain kind of vulnerability. And Virtue.
Singing? I've never done anything. Seriously, up to this point, I wouldn't even go karaoking with my friends. I would never sing in front of people because I was so sensitive about it. Isn't that ironic? Now I'm singing in front of America.
I spent as little time as I possibly could there. That's kinda what I was like in high school. I wasn't a big scholastic book nut. I think I liked self-guided studies. I was on correspondence for a while. I think taking my own cues.
You've just got to focus on what you're doing, not that America is going to see you in the shower.
I don't need to be wildly famous for my life to make sense. I guess I'm kind of happy where I'm at, and I take whatever comes and it's a good thing. So I think what I've already been given, as far as being able to do these shows, is such a blessing. It's really cool to be able to do it. It's not a job that a whole lot of people get to do. It's a lot easier than construction.
I was at a loose end, and someone suggested that it would be something that I should take a look at, and pretty much offered me free acting classes. On a whim, I was so like "this might be cool", I was skeptical at first. I don't really see myself doing community theatre, so I really don't know why I would take acting classes, you know what I mean? I was 20, and it just sort of jumped in my lap, I just ran into someone who knew an acting teacher and he referred me to classes. It was suggested to me that I had potential and if I were to pursue it, then I could probably be successful. I had nothing else going on in my life whatsoever at that point; I was a roofer, I was a cab driver. I was doing nothing, right, so I just completely pursued it. I just moved to Vancouver to pursue it.
I just officially settled in LA, and I'm giving up the place in Vancouver...A little scary, but it sure looks like I'll be here a lot more than in Canada!
FOX taught me how to sing and dance.
I keep a pretty low profile. I live in Culver City with some roommates. I don't do the whole 'Hollywood' thing. I don't think too much is going to change. If people are taking pictures of me at Starbucks, it's not the end of the world. It's cool, it's fun, it's exciting.
