George Lucas definitely has a right to be trippin' on me because the sound at the beginning of my album does sound like his shit. Actually we got the idea from him. And it's like, any-fu..ing-body can hear that. So he definitely has a legitimate argument and I can't argue that. That's why I'm payin' him the money that he wants. Am I Player-Hatin' on Napster? Um, no. No. I would have no reason to even speak on Napster if they wasn't fu..in' with my music. I'm one of the few individuals in this business that owns his Masters. My Masters come back to me after a certain period of time. And this is something that my kids are gonna be able to eat on in the future, Period.. Napster is just a new high-tech way of Bootlegging, Period! That's all it is and fu.. that! A lotta people involved with Napster are talking about music should be free. Well how the fu.. are we supposed to make it? It costs to make it! Straight up, this is my job! I bet you there's nobody at Napster that's workin' for free

A simple philosophy to stick to would be that religion and the promotion of religious opinion is none of the government's business. Congress can make o law respecting an establishment of religion. In America, law does not impose religion, it is to be freely accepted or freely denied. Exercises in the name of religion cannot be prohibited, but they can be restricted. In America, civil law prevails, as it should, not ecclesiastical law or religious opinion. Religion is a matter of opinion. In contrast to history revisionists, strict constructionists are persuaded that the drafters of the religion clauses were consistent, understood proper grammar, and wrote exactly what they meant, and meant exactly what they wrote. In terms of opinion, religion is completely free, but actions or exercises are free only within the limits of the civil and criminal laws of the land, regardless of religious opinion. Religion, however you choose to define it, is not above the law. The lack of conflict or

JESTER, n. An officer formerly attached to a king's household, whose business it was to amuse the court by ludicrous actions and utterances, the absurdity being attested by his motley costume. The king himself being attired with dignity, it took the world some centuries to discover that his own conduct and decrees were sufficiently ridiculous for the amusement not only of his court but of all mankind. The jester was commonly called a fool, but the poets and romancers have ever delighted to represent him as a singularly wise and witty person. In the circus of to-day the melancholy ghost of the court fool effects the dejection of humbler audiences with the same jests wherewith in life he gloomed the marble hall, panged the patrician sense of humor and tapped the tank of royal tears. The widow-queen of Portugal Had an audacious jester Who entered the confessional Disguised, and there confessed her. Father, she said, thine ear bend down -- My sins are more than scarlet: I love my foo

My issue is race. I feel black people nowadays have to conform to this one ideal. We all have to be the same. We all have to be hard and ghetto and listen to only one genre of music which would be Rap and R&B. And if one of us steps out of the mold we're not black anymore. Well, that's dumb. When did music determine your racial background? Or a musical instrument? I can't believe the dumb things people say when you're doing something different. I mean, it would be ok if music and how you dress and act actually determined your race, but the last time I checked it was your genes that determined your color. And I think anyone who chooses to believe in this fabrication is ignorant. Isn't this what the Civil Rights Movement was about, equality? Didn't Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. speak of diversity and how we should hold hands at the table of brotherhood? Well how are you supposed to do this when we try to conform to this idea. Not conforming doesn't make you have less pride in your race but

YESTERDAY, n. The infancy of youth, the youth of manhood, the entire past of age. But yesterday I should have thought me blest To stand high-pinnacled upon the peak Of middle life and look adown the bleak And unfamiliar foreslope to the West, Where solemn shadows all the land invest And stilly voices, half-remembered, speak Unfinished prophecy, and witch-fires freak The haunted twilight of the Dark of Rest. Yea, yesterday my soul was all aflame To stay the shadow on the dial's face At manhood's noonmark! Now, in God His name I chide aloud the little interspace Disparting me from Certitude, and fain Would know the dream and vision ne'er again. --Baruch Arnegriff It is said that in his last illness the poet Arnegriff was attended at different times by seven doctors.

There's something in every atheist, itching to believe, and something in every believer, itching to doubt. ~Mignon McLaughlin, The Second Neurotic's Notebook, 1966 Religion enables us to ignore nothingness and get on with the jobs of life. ~John Updike, Self-Consciousness, 1989 A religion without the element of mystery would not be a religion at all. ~Edwin Lewis It is doubtless true that religion has been the world's psychiatrist throughout the centuries. ~Karl Menninger Religion is the metaphysics of the masses. ~Arthur Schopenhauer All religions are the same: religion is basically guilt, with different holidays. ~Cathy Ladman No religion is a true religion that does not make men tingle to their finger tips with a sense of infinite hazard. ~William Ernest Hocking The church is the great lost and found department. ~Robert Short I speak not of men's creeds - they rest between Man and his Maker. ~George Gordon, Lord Byron, Childe Harold's Pilgrimage God made s
