Teenage love is something that our generation plays with.. We use love so we can get s.. or so we can be popular. We never think about the good things in a relationship. You can't date a person because you think they are easy or because you wanna get popular. Find that special person who is gonna love you for you not for what you have or what you look like. I'm so fu..ing tired of seeing young couples fall in love, have s.., fight, then break up. Go slow, don't rush. You have you whole life to do those things, trust me. Don't grow up to be like these teenagers on TV who smoke, party, talk back to their parents, & have s.. all the time. Our parents didn't raise us like that maybe some but not all. Just wait.. Love is not something you need to survive or pass school & get a career. Maybe it's fine to have somebody, but on & off with different people almost everyday.. Yeah, I flirt but I don't go around fu..ing people or doing things with them. Your still young, don't let somebody break your heart over NOTHING! It's not the end of the world.. Just focus on school & trying to graduate on time.

People are afraid of themselves, of their own reality; their feelings most of all. People talk about how great love is, but that's bullshit. Love hurts. Feelings are disturbing. People are taught that pain is evil and dangerous. How can they deal with love if they're afraid to feel? Pain is meant to wake us up. People try to hide their pain. But they're wrong. Pain is something to carry, like a radio. You feel your strength in the experience of pain. It's all in how you carry it. That's what matters. Pain is a feeling. Your feelings are a part of you. Your own reality. If you feel ashamed of them, and hide them, you're letting society destroy your reality. You should stand up for your right to feel your pain.

After four years of arduous service marked by unsurpassed courage and fortitude, the Army of Norther Virginia has been compelled to yield to overwhelming numbers and resources. I need not tell the brave survivors of some many hard fought battles who have remained steadfast to the last that I have consented to this result from no distrust of them. But feeling that valor and devotion could accomplish nothing that could compensate for the loss that must have attended the continuance of the contest, I determined to avoid the useless sacrifice of those whose past services have endeared them to their countrymen. By the terms of the agreement, officers and men can return to their homes and remain until exchanged. You will take with you the satisfaction that proceeds from a consciousness of duty faithfully performed; and I earnestly pray that a Merciful God will extend to you His blessings and protection. With an unceasing admiration of your constancy and devotion to your Country, and a g

Military quotes
The discipline which makes the soldiers of a free country reliable in battle is not to be gained by harsh or tyrannical treatment. On the contrary, such treatment is far more likely to destroy than to make an army. It is possible to impart instruction and give commands in such a manner and such a tone of voice as to inspire in the soldier no feeling, but an intense desire to obey, while the opposite manner and tone of voice cannot fail to excite strong resentment and a desire to disobey. The one mode or the other of dealing with subordinates springs from a corresponding spirit in the breast of the commander. He who feels the respect which is due to others cannot fail to inspire in them respect for himself. While he who feels, and hence manifests, disrespect towards others, especially his subordinates, cannot fail to inspire hatred against himself.

To live this life, my friends, you have to have a genuine passion. Nothing artificial. To live this life, to love this life, you have to have a genuine passion. People think Kabir was so wonderful because he was uneducated and yet he said all these wonderful things. Do you think it would have been different had Kabir gone to Yale and Oxford? If so, you missed the point. The point isn't whether he was educated or not, because, in the truest sense, he was very educated. More educated than most people. The point is that passion. Maybe you won't be able to write like Kabir, but you can feel the same passion. Passion is the point. That love is the point. That feeling is the point. That is achievable by everyone sitting in this hall, and in the city of London, and on this planet Earth. That passion. That love. That awakening. That joy.

HEART, n. An automatic, muscular blood-pump. Figuratively, this useful organ is said to be the esat of emotions and sentiments --a very pretty fancy which, however, is nothing but a survival of a once universal belief. It is now known that the sentiments and emotions reside in the stomach, being evolved from food by chemical action of the gastric fluid. The exact process by which a beefsteak becomes a feeling --tender or not, according to the age of the animal from which it was cut; the successive stages of elaboration through which a caviar sandwich is transmuted to a quaint fancy and reappears as a pungent epigram; the marvelous functional methods of converting a hard-boiled egg into religious contrition, or a cream-puff into a sigh of sensibility --these things have been patiently ascertained by M. Pasteur, and by him expounded with convincing lucidity. (See, also, my monograph, _The Essential Identity of the Spiritual Affections and Certain Intestinal Gases Freed in Digestion_ --4t

Age quotes
If wheat were at this moment subject to a duty of twenty shillings the quarter, and if Indian corn were virtually excluded, next winter would not pass without a convulsion endangering the whole frame of society, without the humiliation of constituted authorities forced to yield after a disgraceful struggle...if their advice had been taken, we should have had famine prices for many articles, and a state of exasperated public feeling and just agitation, which it would require wiser heads than theirs to allay. So far from regretting the expulsion from office, I rejoice in it as the greatest relief from an intolerable burden. To have your own way, and to be for five years the Minister of this country in the House of Commons, is quite enough for any man's strength. He is entitled to his discharge, from length of service. But to have to incur the deepest responsibility, to bear the heaviest toil, to reconcile colleagues with conflicting opinions to a common course of action, to keep together in harmony the Sovereign, the Lords and the Commons; to have to do these things, and to be at the same time the tool of a party, that is to say, to adopt the opinions of men who have not access to your knowledge, and could not profit by it if they had, who spend their time in eating and drinking, and hunting, shooting, gambling, horse-racing, and so forth, would be an odious servitude, to which I will never submit. I determine to keep aloof from party combinations.

1)It is obvious, for survival and problem solving purposes, we live in two worlds, the mind and the environment. The environment is all that exists outside the mind, including my foot or my body. The body is considered part of the environment because discovery takes place there, you discover a mole, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment defies logic because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate.. 3)God (or evolution if you please) alone creates all the existing entities, players, animals, insects, fish, and planets, etc, that exist ( humans don't create these players/entities ). Humans came on the scene surrounded by these players. Defenseless, we could only observe and notice what they did or could do and when they did it, etc. We observed relationships and remembered. Even the stars above appeared to have useful patterns/relationships. 4)Humans have always negotiated their way in the world by capturing perceived relationships among and between the players and entities by using observation and thought. Humans ascended by climbing the ladder of relationships and then exploited these relationships. Einsteins perceived relationship between energy, mass, and the speed of light lead to exploitable atomic weapons. 5)Relationships are the sum and summary of all intellectual activity. The mind feeds upon and grows with its knowledge of relationships. New relationships are the product of creative thought, usually aided with observation. Problems are solved by and with the sudden apprehension of a new and viable relationship. 6)A solution, to be a solution, must share some of the characteristics of the problem. It is the pursuit of a shared characteristic that can identify a sought after relationship leading to a useful solution. A good problem solving method then is to describe a problem in written painful detail and then follow each characteristic always on alert for possible relationships. Isaac Newton may have invented the reflecting telescope in this fashion by meditating on the under performing refractor telescope. 7)Reactions are a special form of relationship and are quite useful to record and collect because of their automatic character. Here, the body is considered part of the environment because discovery and surprise take place on the body, you discover a mole on your leg, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment however, defies logic, because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate. Groups of people know more about the environment than any one person, and this makes frequent human interactions profitable/educational. 3)God (or evolution if you please) alone creates all the existing entities, players, animals, insects, fish, and planets, etc, that exist ( humans don't create these players/entities ). Humans came on the scene surrounded by these players. Defenseless, we could only observe and remember what animals did or could do and when they did it, etc. We observed relationships and remembered. We saw the distant stars above and connected them with very useful patterns/relationships. 4)Humans have always negotiated their way in the world by capturing perceived relationships among and between the players and entities by using observation and thought. Humans ascended by climbing the ladder of relationships by seeking and exploiting these relationships. Einsteins perceived relationship between energy, mass, and the speed of light lead to exploitable atomic weapons. Our senses pick up things and our mind perceives the accompanying relationships. 5)Relationships are the sum and summary of all intellectual activity. The mind feeds upon and grows with its knowledge of relationships. New relationships are the product of creative thought, usually aided with observation. Problems are solved by and with the sudden apprehension of a new and viable relationship. Producing useful relationships is what the intellect does, what it's role is. If the mind has a product, it has to be relationships. 6)A solution, to be a solution, must share some of the characteristics of the problem. It is the belief in, and the pursuit of a shared characteristic that can identify a sought after relationship leading to a useful solution.
