Peace is knowing who you are and what it is you truly must do, no matter what the trial my be; peace you know will see you through. Peace is having a truth that will always prevail as faith is believing; peace is within to console the sound of a heart who's suffers from sickness and feels that sometimes no one cares. Peace will bring you through many storms of life and deliver you from the wicked who seek to hurt you. God says peace be still and no evil can harm you; for the prince of peace brings justice and redemption through eternal life.

I think it was to make really good music and give something to the people that, you know what I am saying, buy the music. I know that may sound f***ing corny, but that's what I wanted to do. It's a deep thing when you make millions off others buying your music. Artists, we owe it to the people, we have to go to the record studio and put out great albums. I hate hearing bullsh*t records, I hate hearing that, I ask how could they have released this? How could they do that to the people? Especially bullsh*t albums that sell.

There is much pain that is quite noiseless; and vibrations that make human agonies are often a mere whisper in the roar of hurrying existence. There are glances of hatred that stab and raise no cry of murder; robberies that leave man or woman for ever beggared of peace and joy, yet kept secret by the sufferer committed to no sound except that of low moans in the night, seen in no writing except that made on the face by the slow months of suppressed anguish and early morning tears. Many an inherited sorrow that has marred a life has been breathed into no human ear.

1 - 2 The most original sin is not the thinker's but the poet's. Jose Bergamin The novel is born of disillusionment; the poem, of despair. Jose Bergamin Theology is the logic of the Devil. Jose Bergamin There are no good or bad habits. All habits are, by definition, bad. Jose Bergamin There are those who dance to the rhythm that is played to them, those who only dance to their own rhythm, and those who don't dance at all. Jose Bergamin To be ready to fail is to be prepared for success. Jose Bergamin To be thirsty and to drink water is the perfection of sensuality rarely achieved. Sometimes you drink water; other times you are thirsty. Jose Bergamin To light one candle to God and another to the Devil is the principle of wisdom. Jose Bergamin To sin offers repentance and forgiveness; not to sin offers only punishment. Jose Bergamin True art tries not to attract attention in order to be noticed. I can definitely say that music is taking a turn [toward] the electro, somewhat 80s-inspired music. I feel like its kind of evolving back to that, and music kind of repeats itselflike, at one point in time hip-hop was dominating, and we had that moment, at one point in time R&B songs that were really melodic were dominating. Were at a point where the records that have an extra sprinkle of pop in them, or the more electro sound are starting to become more [prevalent], and are starting to be consistent throughout the music at radio.

We decide based on how people look; we decide based on how people sound; we decide based on how people are dressed. We decide based on their passion.

I open up a big cabinet, and I have a collection of helmits. I put on the different helmets, and I take tree bottles of Robitussin and drink them really quickly. Then I set my hands on fire-I have to write whatever comes to mind pretty fast, before my hand burnsoff." "I just let whatever comes out, comes out without thinking about it to much. Some of it I keep, some I toss out, some of it I turn into giant cigarettes and somke 'em. I think everybodu should just turn off their TV machines and make up their own songs about whatever comes to mind-their couch, their friends their loaves of bread. Everybody's got their own songs. There should be so many songs out there that it all turns into one big sound and we can put the whole thing into a pickup truck and let it roll off the edge of the Grand Canyon.

Song Writing quotes
Actors didn't use to be celebrities. A hundred years ago, they put the theaters next to the brothels. Actors were poor. Celebrities used to be kings and queens. Then the United States abolished monarchy, and now there's this coming together of show business and celebrity. I don't think it's healthy. I don't want to sound self-important, but all these celebrity shows and magazines, it comes from us, from Hollywood, from our country. We're the ones creating it. And I think it works in close step with a lot of other bad things that are happening in the world. It promotes greed, it promotes being selfish and it promotes this ladder, where you're a better person if you have more money. It's not at all about the work itself. Don't get me wrong. I love movies. But this myth of celebrity has nothing to do with movies.

I don't think Homies Over ho.. is a sentiment that A pi.p Named Slickback can cosign, Riley. I mean don't get me wrong. A pi.p Named Slickback would put a lot of things over a ho. Money over a ho? Always. Brand new gators over a ho? Absolutely. A turkey sandwich with just tomato? Guaranteed. But homies? Oh no. A pi.p Named Slickback don't do shit for the homies. Let me reiterate. Don't do shit for the homies. Unless the homie wanna walk that stroll and get that money, a homie ain't gettin' a goddamn thing. And the same goes for brothers, peeps, dudes, fellas, dunnies, comrades, whatever the fu.. ni...s is callin' each other nowadays. Sound like some gay shit to me. -A pi.p Named Slickback

Playing Arthur, I'm sorry to sound sappy, but it was a gift from the Gods. I've always been a working actor and I've always made my living in acting for a long time. I'd been auditioning for that show, I knew the casting directors pretty well. Arthur was the fifth character I auditioned for on the show. They kept bringing me in for parts and not finding anything for me. I actually wasn't supposed to audition for the part of Arthur, I was auditioning for one of the gay choir members from David's choir. Then I read about that part and went, 'Oh my God, that's perfect for me.' And I asked permission to read for it right then and there. I went in and auditioned without any preparation whatsoever and I think that probably helped me because I didn't overthink it. It was an amazing experience. Those shows are so well written and so well acted they're like little one-hour movies. So in a way I got to do like twelve or thirteen little one-hour movies as a very interesting and complex character. Everyone was really cool. Alan Ball, all the artists behind that show, were just so supportive and great and that really helped launch my career. I'm really grateful to the show for that.

1)It is obvious, for survival and problem solving purposes, we live in two worlds, the mind and the environment. The environment is all that exists outside the mind, including my foot or my body. The body is considered part of the environment because discovery takes place there, you discover a mole, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment defies logic because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate.. 3)God (or evolution if you please) alone creates all the existing entities, players, animals, insects, fish, and planets, etc, that exist ( humans don't create these players/entities ). Humans came on the scene surrounded by these players. Defenseless, we could only observe and notice what they did or could do and when they did it, etc. We observed relationships and remembered. Even the stars above appeared to have useful patterns/relationships. 4)Humans have always negotiated their way in the world by capturing perceived relationships among and between the players and entities by using observation and thought. Humans ascended by climbing the ladder of relationships and then exploited these relationships. Einsteins perceived relationship between energy, mass, and the speed of light lead to exploitable atomic weapons. 5)Relationships are the sum and summary of all intellectual activity. The mind feeds upon and grows with its knowledge of relationships. New relationships are the product of creative thought, usually aided with observation. Problems are solved by and with the sudden apprehension of a new and viable relationship. 6)A solution, to be a solution, must share some of the characteristics of the problem. It is the pursuit of a shared characteristic that can identify a sought after relationship leading to a useful solution. A good problem solving method then is to describe a problem in written painful detail and then follow each characteristic always on alert for possible relationships. Isaac Newton may have invented the reflecting telescope in this fashion by meditating on the under performing refractor telescope. 7)Reactions are a special form of relationship and are quite useful to record and collect because of their automatic character. Here, the body is considered part of the environment because discovery and surprise take place on the body, you discover a mole on your leg, not think it up. 2)All discovery and surprise takes place in the environment (as research scientists, battlefield commanders, examining doctors, and auditors, etc, already know ). The environment however, defies logic, because it evolves and so one must go to it to investigate, research, and experiment....not sit in a chair and just meditate. Groups of people know more about the environment than any one person, and this makes frequent human interactions profitable/educational. 3)God (or evolution if you please) alone creates all the existing entities, players, animals, insects, fish, and planets, etc, that exist ( humans don't create these players/entities ).
