And then, what is the spiritual being that does not know its Sacred Self? But knowing it means to refer to non-Knowledge and be an Image from the non-Knowledge as well. Then I ask again: what is the spiritual being that does not refer its Sacred Self to non-Knowledge? Is it the Spiritual Being that no longer is an image of its own destiny in non-Knowledge? Is this being truly spiritual when the Absolute Truth of Knowledge consists precisely of non-Knowledge? Or in not knowing it?

1 - 2 - 3 To be a man's own fool is bad enough, but the vain man is everybody's. William Penn To be like Christ is to be a Christian. William Penn True godliness does not turn men out of the world, but enables them to live better in it and excites their endeavors to mend it. William Penn True silence is the rest of the mind, and is to the spirit what sleep is to the body, nourishment and refreshment. William Penn Truth often suffers more by the heat of its defenders than the arguments of its opposers. William Penn We are apt to love praise, but not deserve it. But if we would deserve it, we must love virtue more than that. William Penn 1 - 2 - 3

God has given sooo much information in the Bible about this, and so many proofs, and so many signs, that we know it is absolutely going to happen without any question at all. Theres nothing in the Bible that God has ever prophesied theres many things that he prophesied would happen and they always have happened but theres nothing in the Bible that holds a candle to the amount of information to this tremendous truth of the end of the world. I would be absolutely in rebellion against God if I thought anything other than it is absolutely going to happen without any question.

End Of The World quotes
And I return to the coldness of this defying human nature, to the impertinence with which the losers of the Sacred Self clime to our sorts of social positions thinking that there they will find their peace, but they are completely wrong. The more they climb, the more they will be confused and miserable because happiness is a mirage of this defying world. No matter how much you gain and what social positions you would had, they are all vanity of the vanities, they are all a smoke caught in our fists or a cry embraced, because they all become immediately a normality and then a boring thus completing the misery, but especially the vanity that surrounds this world where everything is built to fall, where everything is an Illusion of our Life, where the true meaning is the nonsense, and the true Truth is precisely the Untruth. Then what is better for man? Is it to kill himself?

'I trust you' is better than 'I love you,' because you may not always trust the person you love but you can always love the person you trust.

I was not out to paint beautiful pictures; even painting good pictures was not important to me. I wanted only to help the truth burst forth. Alice Miller It is possible to resolve childhood repression safely and without confusion - something that has always been disputed by the most respected schools of thought. Alice Miller It is very difficult for people to believe the simple fact that every persecutor was once a victim. Yet it should be very obvious that someone who was allowed to feel free and strong from childhood does not have the need to humiliate another person. Alice Miller Learning is a result of listening, which in turn leads to even better listening and attentiveness to the other person. In other words, to learn from the child, we must have empathy, and empathy grows as we learn. Alice Miller Regression to the stage of early infancy is not a suitable method in and of itself. Such a regression can only be effective if it happens in the natural course of therapy and if th

There is a wonderful passage in the Odyssey where Odysseus meets the ghost of Achilles in Hades. They are profoundly courteous to each other. Odysseus, outlining his own toils, reminds Achilles that the supreme honor which the latter receives from all makes light of death; but Achilles, complimenting Odysseus on the magnificence of his adventures, answers that there is no consolation in death, for it is better to be the living slave of a poor man than king of all the dead. Yet, it is hard to imagine Achilles as the slave of a poor man, and hard to believe that he is speaking a literal truth. He is emphasizing the cost of his greatness, the incurable sorrow of being Achilles. He is saying, "I have suffered the wrost, and identified myself with it; you have merely survived. And Odysseus, for his part, says: "you are very honored indeed, but you are dead; I am doing the really difficult and great thing." In the gulf between the two men, and their characteristic views of life, in a few lin

I've noticed a facinating phenomenon in my thiry years of teaching: schools and schooling are increasingly irrelvant to the great enterprises of the planet. No one believes anymore that scientists are trained in science classes or politicians in civics classes or poets in English classes. The truth is that schools don't really teach anyting except how to obey orders. This is a great mystery to me because thousands of humane, caring people work in schools as teachers and aides and administrators, but the abstract logic of the instituion overwhelms their individual contributions. Although teachers to care and do work very, very hard, the institution is psychopathic, it has no conscience. It rings a bell and the young man in the middle of writing a poem must close his notebook and move to a different cell where he must memorize that humans and monkeys derive from a common ancestor.
