Loving someone unconditionally is one of the most difficult things to do during our lifetime, but may also be the most rewarding. Whether we choose to believe it or not, we are human, and eventually we will end up letting someone we love down, and eventually someone that we love will let us down as well. The true test of love is not how bad someones mistake they commit against us is, but it is how we forgive them of it, learn from it, and grow from it.

Of course, we are to never let anyone take advantage of us. But we must learn to forgive, and evaluate whether we love someone more than the mistake they may have committed. Being able to love someone despite their flaws shows great character and shows how much you really know who you are, and that you are courageous enough to follow your heart, despite what others may say or think.
