One of the biggest mistakes we can make in life is to lose ourselves in a relationship by trying to become someone that other people want us to be. If you have to change who you are to make a relationship work, your relationship will fail anyway. Either you wont really be happy inside of it, because you can't think or act as yourself, or the other person you are trying to appease wont be happy because you aren't enough of the person that they want you to be.

If a person notices that you aren't really being yourself in a relationship and encourages you to continue this behavior, be careful because something is wrong. They may not really care about you as a person, and they may only have their own best interests at heart. Give focus to you, and the relationships that you need to be in will come so much easier. Be confident in yourself, and who you are through Gods promises.
