You're not ready maybe. Don't do it because everybody is getting a chick beside 'em and you're feeling out. You can't tell who's wrong or right until we probably start hitting our 70's and 80's. But if you're ready for one, then good. Now If you love somebody and it's either you DATE them or LOSE them to somebody else FOREVER, would you then let your 'shyness' take them away from you?? FOREVER?? If No, then you're not really shy, and if yes, then you probably don't really love her, get over yourself and do what you want. Except if you feel you're not ready then just wait, don't force yourself or let anyone decide on such issues for you. Remember, people won't give a f*ck about whether you lose or win her, just you two. In fact if people are involve, they would secretely wish you lose but there are still good friends though.
