I had a girlfriend forever and I'm just recently sort of getting back into the dating world, so I have my own issues to deal with. I guess it can be difficult. It can be difficult [but] not because of the type of character I play. I don't really worry about people thinking of me as the 'pie guy' and not wanting to date me because they think I'm a loser or sexually inept. It's more about, Is the girl into you because you're cool and because she likes you and because she's able to separate you from your work? Or is my film work or recognition a distraction to her, or something she's not able to put aside? Is that the only reason she likes me? Those questions that come into play, not so much my concern over being perceived as a bumbling, goofy guy.
