Holiday Greetings signify goodwill and gratitude. These greetings are shared all over the world amongst friends as well as strangers. There are many clichéd greetings that are prominently used all over the world to wish one another. There are some greetings which are more prevalent in a few countries than others. These greetings vary across countries and continents, depending upon the culture in various parts of the world.
In the good old days specific greetings were used for both Christmas and New Year separately.
