You just can't force yourself to like somebody! If you don't have affectionate feelings towards him then you should not try and wonder why. Or maybe you just haven't found your heart for him, but when you do , then you will know! Until then, just spend your time, and try making it worth it. With time, anything can heal or procreate :)
