Ex-husband is the term used to describe a woman’s former husband. Husband and wife may call it quits and can decide to part ways. Either of them can file for a divorce in the court. After the divorce, the once married couple is no longer husband and wife and become each other’s ex-husband and ex-wife. It is extremely important for any woman to get over the memories of her ex-husband so that she can move on in life and advance further. A woman should completely detach herself from the memories of her failed marriage which could not survive the test of time and might have gone kaput because of a plethora of reasons. Extra-marital affairs mainly spoil a marriage. Delia Ephron had jokingly remarked, “Your basic extended family today includes your ex-husband or -wife, your ex's new mate, your new mate, possibly your new mate's ex and any new mate that your new mate's ex has acquired.”
