Singing was my first love and I never even considered it after I started acting, but now I'm bringing it back into my life. I trained from the ages of 11 to 17. When I moved to New York and got into serious acting, I just kind of abandoned the whole singing thing. But when I grew up in Pennsylvania I went to voice lessons once a week.

If I came out with a club hit, if I were singing duets with Jesse McCartney, I think people would get the wrong idea. I'm not interested in fashion design. I'm an actress, and that's all I want to focus on. For me, that's just more fulfilling.

I did theatre when I was nine, I think. Nine and ten, and that was just the beginning of my whole involvement in acting, my whole interest. I don't really remember it that well. But it was really fun. I mean, it was exciting just to be on stage in front of an audience. It gives you a different kind of rush.

When you hear a song and you're acting it's incredible. But when you're singing a song and you're acting it's even more incredible.

I had to kiss Megan Fox in Jennifer's Body, and it was not very comfortable at all. I did it because that was what the story was about, but it's awkward being with a women in that way, trying to make it look natural. I had to do it again with Julianne Moore in Chloe and somehow it was easier with her, but it still felt really strange.
