I look back on the just appalling things I would write as a 12 year old. My oh my, just how incompetent was I? I found less grammatical errors than I thought I would, and for that I'm grateful. But, I never imagined the extent of what I considered intelligent to be so minuscule. Oh well, I thought, since one day, my employers will one day see this page, I'd write an explanation. I am torn whether or not preteens should have social media in order to make mistakes or to not allow them to, because they aren't prepared for the task.
