Im trying to approach this as if it wasnt a superhero movie. Its just about a guy who gets this amazing gift. But the first time I put on the costume, it was a real mix of excitement and terror, What have I gotten myself into? But its started to feel more like home. I worked out a lot. My metabolism moves at a million miles a second so I had to eat a lot too to gain weight and muscle. There was no day I took off and no day where I just took it light or easy.

I gotta be honest, the majority of superhero movies that I've seen, I think we do a really good job establishing a romance. It's a budding romance, it's early. Steve Rogers hasn't had much experience with women, so the romance they establish is new and fresh, and it doesn't have a chance to develop.

The fact is there's a lot of better actors than I am who are out there and aren't working, so I'm still trying to come into my own. I think if I thought I had a distinguishing quality, I think that might be a step in the wrong direction. I think trying to remain as humble as possible is the best way to aid that progression with your acting.

When I found out I had to take off my shirt in Teen movie, I panicked and hit the gym. I was like, 'It's going to be on film, documented, for my children to see. I can't be 140 pounds. I need to put on a little bit of muscle.'

The point is that when I see a sunset or a waterfall or something, for a split second it's so great, because for a little bit I'm out of my brain, and it's got nothing to do with me.
