Debauchery means indulging in wrong and illegal practices. A debaucher is a person who indulges in debauchery. Debauchers are unscrupulous people. They are people who do not have any morals and virtues. They are ill-treated and not entertained by any respectable member of the society. They are viewed with disgraceful eyes because of their immoral vices and activities.
One might practice debauchery under testing circumstances, when one goes astray and is mislead by others to follow the wrong path and indulge in immoral activities.
In the words of Edmund De Goncourt, “Debauchery is perhaps an act of despair in the face of infinity.” Debauchery can never be considered good, though. One should always uphold one’s virtues and morals, however adverse the circumstances might be. Moral and dignity lost once can never be regained. Moral and dignity come only once and should be preserved.
