Benefits of Laughter
Many people don't realize the great curing effects of a good laugh and a good cry. Crying is a great way to relieve emotional pain in your life. A lot of us save crying for extremely emotionally sensitive times, such as when a close loved one dies, or during a bad break up. During times like these every tear that falls down our face is an ounce of pain leaving the body. Crying is one of the greatest coping mechanisms that we have as human beings.

Though many people see crying as an important part of the grieving process, many don't realize how essential laughter is to this process as well. We must laugh, usually after we get out all of our tears to try to bring some peace and joy back into our lives. Remembering the funny things someone did while they were alive with their loved ones, is a good way to lighten up any funeral, or ceremony for remembering someone's life. Getting with a couple of your friends and watching funny movies after a bad break up, will help you get some good laughs, and hopefully help to get your mind off things for a while.

It is important to drain your sorrows out with tears, and re-ignite the flame of joy in your life by laughing as much as possible during the most trying times.
