England is a country that is a part of United Kingdom. It shares borders with Scotland to the north and Wales to the west, the country includes over 100 small islands including Isles of Scilly and Isles of Wight. The area called “England” presently, was once occupied by modern humans during the upper Palaeolithic age, and derives its name from the word “angels”, which was a tribe of Germans during the 5th and the 6th centuries.
In the words of George Bernard Shaw, “England and America are two countries separated by the same language. George Disraeli reckons that, “The people of England are the most enthusiastic in the world.” The capital London is a beautiful city, which is also famous for various sporting clubs and stadiums. The Lords, is in London and The All England Lawn Tennis Club organizes the Wimbledon tournament every year. The country attracts several tourists in large numbers, every year, being one of the most happening cities in Europe.
