Being modest means unassuming of his abilities. Such a person would not brag about his capabilities. Being modest means if someone compliments you, you respond in a positive way and not flaunt your achievement . Modesty, then, denotes a moderate self view seeing oneself as intermediate, rather than as very positive or very negative, on key personal attributes such as personality traits, abilities and skills, physical appearance, and social behavior.
