Look back and stare as well...and if he means well he'll smile and then you can smile back. But if he doesn't and still stares at you, ask him why the hell keeps doing that!
I think he interest in you. You can say "hi" or "hello" when break or after school. Just try to talk with him and be a friend. With that you will learn what kind person he is.
