That why you must not contact your ex anymore, because old feeling can be grow again. I always tell people to not befriend with their ex/exes because this case more likely will happen. Long distance is the best love killer. The failure past relationship mean there is something wrong, if you want to develop it again you will risk your future. Especially when you break with your ex because he cheat/abuse, I think you must forget him completely.
