I'm your uncle, your grandfather, your step-father, your mentor, I am that father figure, but not your birth father. While I will never be your father's judge and jury for his lack involvement in your life (I'll leave that to a higher power), I can never replace him. What I can pledge little one is with every bit of life God has bestowed in me and every resource I have at my disposal, I will be there for you until the good Lord takes me home.
