Though it may be hard to accept, just because someone doesn't show you love in the ways that you wish or expect them to, doesn't necessarily mean that they don't love you. Sometimes we let our views of what a love should be get in front of the reality that relationships are like any other part of our lives, they too require hard work to grow and even to maintain.

When we love someone, we must show great patience, and great trust in the fact that they love us as much as they possibly can. Yes, we can try to teach them about how to better show us love, but we all know how hard it is to change ourselves, so we must remember that trying to change how someone shows their love will likely be extremely difficult. The best thing you can do is to be an example of what you think love is, and love with every single portion of yourself possible.
