Destiny is what it is or is it what we make it to be?

I believe destiny is designed by God and it's our responsibilities to work hard according to God's plan to make it come true at the right time or go away from God's plan and miss it. And when we miss God's plan for our lives, we get stuck with the devil's evil plan for our lives which leads to destruction.
